ABSTRACT THE EFFECT OF WORK DISCIPLINE ON EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE AT PT ULTRAJAYA MILK INDUSTRY & TRADING COMPANY TBK Written by: Erik Christofer Lumban Gaol NIM: 1731022 The purpose and objective of this study is to determine whether there is an effect of work discipline on employee performance at PT. Ultrajaya Milk Industry & Trading Company Tbk. This study uses a descriptive method, the population specified in this study are employees of PT. Ultrajaya Milk Industry & Trading Company Tbk. From the data processing and analysis carried out on the authors, the following conclusions can be drawn: the correlation coefficient of work discipline with employee performance is 0.742 and is included in a strong category relationship. In the hypothesis test, it is known that the tcount value is 5.862 > t table 2.052, and the significant level that has been determined is 0.000 <0.05, meaning Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning that there is a significant influence between work discipline on employee performance. The coefficient of determination is obtained at 0.551 or 55.1%, meaning that the contribution given by work discipline is 55.1% while the remaining 45.9% is the influence of other variables not examined. From the regression calculations that have been processed above, the linear regression is as follows: Y = 6.835 + 0.938 X from the above it can be concluded that work discipline has an effect on employee performance of 7.773.
