ABSTRACT THE EFFECT OF PROMOTION ON THE LEVEL OF SALES IN THE OPPO STORE BEC BANDUNG Written by: Maria Madalena Dulik NIM: 1631019 The purpose of writing in this study was to determine the effect of promotion on the level of sales in the Oppo Store BEC Bandung. The method used in this research is descriptive method by using several analysis calculations, such as correlation coefficient analysis, significance test, correlation coefficient determonation and simple linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS 21. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability, with the number of pupulation taken was 50 employees. The results of the correlation coefficient obtained r = 0.834 which means that the correlation between promotion and level of sales is strong. From the results of existing studies the promotion has a t-test value of 10.471>2.011 t-table, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between promotion on the level of sales. Based on the SPSS result, the results of simple linear equations are Y = 2,971 + 0,467 X. Which means that if the promotion variable increase 1%, the level of sales also increases by 0,467. Based on the calculation of the coefficient of determination it was found that 30.4% of the level of sales is influenced by other variables not discussed in this study. From the results of this study, the authors suggest that increasing promotions that can increase sales levels. Keywords: Promotion, the level of sales
