ABSTRACT THE PERCEPTION OF TAMAN WISMA ASRI CONFERENCE COMMUNITY MEMBERS OF DKI JAKARTA CONCERNING JEMAAT RETREATS ON THE INTEREST OF CHURCH MEMBER IN GROWTH EVANGELISM BASED ON 1 CORINTHIANS 9:16 Andreas Aruan NIM: 1711007 The author conducted a study that discusses "Perceptions of members of the GMAHK Taman Wisma Asri Conference in Dki Jakarta about the retreat of the congregation towards the interest of members of the congregation in evangelisticgrowth. Based on 1 Corinthians 9:16, this research was conducted on congregation members at GMAHK Taman Wisma Asri Bekasi. This discussion is carried out with 5 main indicators, namely, (1) The background of the emergence of recreation (2) What is the main purpose of the church retreat (3) What is the meaning of evangelism (4) Can the retreat build the spirituality of the church (5) How can the retreat program be transformed into evangelistic approach relationship. This research was conducted in theoretical research and field research. The results of theoretical research on the five main indicators are (1) The background for the emergence of recreation to create and foster human relationships, preserve nature, and maintain cultural values. (2) The purpose of a church retreat is to invite us to leave our daily work and burdens and refresh our physical and spiritual mind. (3) The meaning of evangelism is where the person gives a message that contains good news from God. (4) Can retreats build church spirituality, church retreats can build congregational spirituality by selecting events that foster church spirituality (5) How can retreats be transformed into an approaching relationship, by creating community service events in the retreat. Field research was carried out by distributing 18 questionnaires containing 18 statements to members of the GMAHK Taman Wisma Asri Bekasi. Based on the questionnaire that has been filled in, it was found that the average congregation member had a very good understanding of the first indicator, and was good for the second indicator, and very good for the third indicator, although in some statements church members did not have a good understanding, overall church members have a very good understanding. It is suggested that this understanding be increased in order to better understand the purpose of the chuch retreat. Keywords: Retreat, Spirituality, and Evangelism
