ABSTRACT HOW THE VIEWPOINT OF THE SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTIST CHURCH MEKARWANGI BANDUNG WEST JAVA CONFERENCE ABOUT HUSBAND AND WIFE QUARRELS BASED EPHESIANS 5:55 Santulus Indra Perdamaean Sihombing NIM: 1711013 In this study, the Author examine How the viewpoint of the Seventh-day Adventist Church Mekarwangi, Bandung West Java Conference about Husband and Wife Quarrels Based Ephesians 5:33. In this study, there are five main indicators, namely: what is the meaning family, what is the purpose of family, what is the role of husband and wife, what causes husband and wife to fight, and what is the impact of husband and wife arguments on children. This research is divided into two main parts, namely theoretical research and field research. The results of this study are to explain the meaning of family in marriage, the responsibility of parents in caring for children, and the impact of Parents arguments on children’s development. This research is divided into 5 parts. 1. The definition of a family must be reflect the nature of God in a family. 2. Family goals are a goal to help each family member have a God-Like character. 3. The roles of husband and wife must be communicators for their children. 4. Concerned with each other’s egos is the causes of domestic quarrels. 5. The consequences of a husband and wife quarrel have serious problems in their psychological and spiritual aspects. The arguing of husband and wife in front of their children inflicts a loss on their own household. Studies have obtained data that parents should avoid quarrels in front of their childrens.
