ABSTRACT THE INFLUENCE OF A PASTOR'S LEADERSHIP STYLE THE PERFORMANCE OF MASEHI ADVENT CHURCH EMPLOYEES SEVENTH DAY IN THE SEVENTH KEDATON CONGREGATIONLAMPUNG REGIONAL SUMATERA KAWASAN SOUTH BASEDPSALM 23: 1-4 Excel Richard Pasaribu NIM: 1711032 This study aims to find out the relationship between the influence of the pastor's leadership style on the performance of church employees. In chapter one section describes the research problem. Chapter two describes the theoretical basis of the influence of pastor leadership style on the performance of church employees. In chapter three discusses the research formulation and methods used in chapter four. Chapter four is the answer to the research. In chapter five the conclusions and suggestions of this research are made. The pastor's leadership style is expected to have a positive impact on improving the performance of church employees in serving to achieve a goal well. Pastors and church employees must have a very good relationship in serving so that they can get a good performance too. This research uses a quantitative descriptive approach. The data from this study were obtained from distributing questionnaires. The analytical method used in this study is the Pearson correlation which aims to examine the relationship between the pastor's leadership style variables, in this case those related to the authoritarian pastor's leadership style (variable X1), laissez-faire pastor leadership style (variable X2), democratic pastor leadership style. (variable X3), and the leadership style of the pastor servan leadership (variable X3) on the performance variable of church employees (variable Y). The conclusion regarding the direction of the relationship between variable X and variable Y shows a positive and strong relationship, namely R count of 0.570 is greater than R table, which is equal to 0. 325. Thus, it can be concluded that the pastor's leadership style has an effect on the performance of church employees.
