ABSTRACT ASUHAN KEPERAWATAN PADA NY. S: BERSIHAN JALAN NAPAS TIDAK EFEKTIF DENGAN BERJEMUR DI BAWAH SINAR MATAHARI PADA KASUS COVID-19 DI RUMAH SAKIT PLUIT Angela Gracelia NIM: 1953067 Indonesia has a record of the highest Covid-19 positivity rate on January 31, 2021, which is over 7 times (36.18%) of the safe limit set by WHO (5%). Meanwhile, Indonesia's Case Fatality Rate (CFR) is considered high, which is 2.8% above the global CFR (2.3%). This nursing care is motivated by the author's experience of practicing for 2 months in the hospital dealing with Covid-19 patients and the author's wish that individuals be more aware of health protocols so that they can reduce high positivity rates and even CFR. The general objective of this final scientific work is to gain real experience in providing nursing care to patients with Covid-19 in the Covid19 isolation room on the 7th floor of Pluit Hospital. The method of writing this final scientific paper uses a descriptive method that describes the nursing process from assessment to evaluation. Based on the assessment, it was found that there were problems with ineffective airway cleaning so that nursing actions were given by basking in the sun. At the time of evaluation, there was an improvement in the complaints felt by the patient as indicated by oxygen saturation and respiratory rate before and after basking in the sun. The conclusion is that by giving the intervention to bask in the sun for 20 minutes, the patient experienced improvement of the ineffective airway cleaning problem. Keywords: sunbathing, ineffective airway clearance, Covid-19
