ABSTRACT NURSING CARE IN MR. S: SECOND DEGREE BURNS WITH CLOSED BURNS TREATMENT AT CLINIC OF ADVENTIST UNIVERSITY OF INDONESIAN Julia Victoria Catherina R. S. Kep. 1953062 Burns are a case caused by exposure to objects with hot energy touching the skin. The main causes are caused by the influence of temperature, electricity, chemicals or radiation. Burns cause damage to the skin and surrounding tissue, in some cases it can even cause damage to other organs and death. If treatment is given too late, it can cause death. Proper, correct and fast wound handling can reduce the risk of a more severe one and reduce other symptoms that can arise. This scientific paper aims to provide a real picture of wound care in patients with burns. The method used is the case study method with the nursing process approach with the steps of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation and accompanied by health education and discharge plans. The results found from wound care in patients with burns that found gaps in assessment, nursing diagnosis and interventions carried out both theoretical and actual, and the results of the evaluation found that the nursing problems the second and third cannot be overcome by because it takes care longer. The forth nursing problem can be overcome because patient about caring the burns. Nursing care given to Mr. S can solve problems in pain diagnosis. Key words: burns, pain, wound care
