ABSTRACT NURSING CARE FOR MR. S. WITH TYPHOID AND WARM COMPRESS MANAGEMENT IN ROOM 3 OF KLINIK PRATAMA ADVENT INDONESIA WEST BANDUNG Deni Laga, S.Kep ID: 2053026 Background: Typhoid fever is still a problem in developing countries. This disease caused by poor sanitation has common symptoms of fever. This scientific work was motivated by reports that warm compresses can be an independent therapy for treating typhoid fever. Purpose: To report the implementation of nursing care to Mr. S. with Typhoid and warm compress management in Room 3 of Klinik Pratama Advent Indonesia. Methods: Descriptive and data collection used by observation, interviews, physical examinations, participation, literature studies and documentation. Results: The assessment showed that the patient had fever especially in the afternoon and evening, nausea, weakness, and decreased appetite. Nursing diagnoses: (1) hyperthermia; (2) nutritional imbalance less than the body's needs; and (3) activity intolerance. Evaluation: each goal has been achieved and all problems resolved. Suggestions: patients to change their lifestyle and maintain sanitation; the nurse may choose warm compresses as the modality therapy for fever; educational institutions to conduct literature related to therapeutic modalities for patients Keywords: Nursing Care; Typhoid Fever; Warm Compress
