XMLABSTRACT NURSING CARE FOR LUNG TUBERCULOSIS IN MRS. I WITH THE MANAGEMENT OF DEEP DIAPHRAGMATIC BREATHING TECHNIQUES FOR DYSPNEA AT KLINIK PRATAMA ADVENTIST UNIVERSITY OF INDONESIA Arranged by: Beauty Hartini Noti NIM : 2053028 Tuberculosis is a disease caused by the bacteria Mycobacterium tuberculosis and is a chronic contagious disease that can be transmitted through sputum sparks so that it will enter through the respiratory tract and attack the lung parenchyma. Deep Diaphragmatic Breathing Exercise is to reduce the use of breathing support muscles, reduce dyspnea by focusing on increasing the work of the diaphragm muscles, increasing the strength of the diaphragm muscles as the main muscles of the breath so that the inspiratory capacity can be optimal which leads to increased movement of the chest wall, regulates and coordinates respiratory rate. so that breathing is more effective. The purpose of this final scientific paper is to gain direct experience in implementing nursing care for patients with pulmonary tuberculosis. The method used is descriptive method with case study writing design. In the study, it was found that the patient experienced dyspnea, felt dyspnea during the day and night which made it difficult for the patient to sleep at night because of the shortness experienced, the patient also had no appetite so he experienced weight loss. Blood pressure 130/90 mmHg, temperature: 36.7 ° C, pulse: 111x / minute, respiration 25x / minute, SPO2 92%, body weight 38 kg from 42 kg. Nursing problems found were ineffective breathing patterns, impaired nutritional fulfillment and disturbed sleep patterns. The nursing actions given were teaching deep diaphragmatic breathing techniques, feeding with TKTP, giving semi fowler positions and providing a calm and comfortable environment. Suggestions that can be given are that nurses can carry out evidence-based practice related to nursing care with the management of diaphragmatic breathing exercise techniques for dyspnea. Keywords: Dyspnea, pulmonary tuberculosis, deep diaphragmatic breathing
