ABSTRACT NURSING CARE IN NY.D: COMFORTABLE DISTURBANCE: PAIN WITH GIVING DEEP BREATHING EXERCISE (DBE) AT UNAI BANDUNG CLINIC Laura Ana Manik NIM:2053012 Acute renal failure is a term used to cover the entire range of symptoms, from minor damage to the kidneys to severe damage. Signs and symptoms in acute renal failure, namely dry skin and mucous membranes due to dehydration and breath may smell of urine (fetouremic), nervous system manifestations (weakness, headache, muscle twitching and convulsions), changes in urinary output is small, may contain blood, anorexia (caused by the accumulation of residual nitroge products Pain and pain in bones and joints (due to loss of calcium from bones), fatigue due to anemia, hypertension, and increased body weight and edema. The aim of nursing care is to analyze and provide a real picture of the administration of DBE therapy for reduce discomfort: pain The main complaint in patients with discomfort: pain related to disease-related processes, ineffective breathing patterns associated with obesity, excess fluid volume associated with excess fluid intake, nutritional imbalance: less than body requirements related to nutritional intake is not adequate Action taken is a collaboration in providing intravenous fluid therapy, administering drugs, teaching DBE techniques. The results of the nursing care given to Mrs..D. during 3 days of treatment with intravenous fluids, taught DBE techniques to be effective in reducing pain, collaborative drug administration to reduce odem. The advice that the authors give to patients and families, in undergoing a good nursing process in adherence to taking medication, controlling food and drink, reducing excessive activity and living a healthy lifestyle.
