ABSTRACT PERCEPTION OF NERS PROFESSION STUDENTS ADVENTIVE UNIVERSITY CONCERNING NURSING PROFESSION Linny Ingryani Ataupah NIM: 1751005 The nursing profession is a job that requires education to be taken to develop students' abilities to become critical, logical and professional thinking in providing services that contribute to health, namely nursing services. Purpose: to find out the Perceptions of the Nurse Profession Students at the Adventist University of Indonesia about the Nursing Profession and to find out which items are the most dominant and which are the least dominant by the profession students about the nursing profession. Method: The research design was descriptive analysis, namely quantitative. Sampling using total sampling amounted to 54 people. Retrieval of data using a questionnaire. Conclusion: the average value (mean) of the Perceptions of the Adventist University Nurse Profession Student about the Nursing Profession is 3.31, which is included in the Very High category. As for the questionnaire items on the Perceptions of the Nurse Profession Student About the Nursing Profession, the measured results show that the highest or most dominant mean or average of the statement items is statement number 20 with a mean or average value of 3.704. The most non-dominant statement is item number 13 with the mean or average value is 2.148. So the Perception of the Adventist University Nurse Profession Student of Indonesia about the Nursing Profession is Good. Suggestions for the Dean of FIK and nursing students at Advent Indonesia University are expected to be used as a means of information and evaluation about student perceptions about the nursing profession.
