ABSTRACT Title : Member of Cimindi Raya Bandung Church Perceptions Regarding Word Meanings “Mighty” Based on Genesis 1:26 Name of Researcher : Lambertus Mbaku N I M : 1011015 Materials Supervisor : Stimson Hutagalung, M. Min. Technical Supervisor : Dr. B. D. Nainggolan, MPS. Completion date : May 2014 Keywords : Word ruling states that humans are kings of the earth. The research in this thesis is done by surveying the views of the experts on the meaning of the word power by Genesis 1:26 . Their perception is divided into three parts, namely; The first, “Human nature at the time of creation. Second, human nature after the fall, and the third is human nature after redemption. Of all the phases of human nature will be known of the attitude or behavior arising from the human self. Based on the authors focus of research by distributing questionnaires to survey the views of the 50 members of the congregation Cimindi Raya Bandung. Research results are as follows: (1) Data respondents age: 13-35 years as many as 21 people, as many as 19 people 36-56 years, 57-87 years as many as 10 people, (2) Data respondents job: Self Employed as many as 12 people, as many as 15 employees, as many as 13 student, as a teacher of 4 people, as a Housewife of 4 people, as many as 1 farmer, and as a Civil Servant as many as 1 person. (3) Data respondents Gender: Male as many as 21 people, as many as 29 women. SPSS validation systems make analysis of the interpretation of the form of Interval Coefficient Interpretation outlook statement given above is: Mean 4:21 to 5:00 : Very Positive / Strongly Agree Mean 3:41 to 4:20 : Positive / Agree Mean 2.61 - 3:40 : Neutral / Hesitates Mean 1.81 - 2.60 : Not Positive / Disagree Mean 1:00 - 1.81 : Strongly Positive / Very Disagree The formula is based on the results of the study interval against all 50 members of the congregation Cimindi Raya Bandung with a total of 17 statements can be interpreted as follows: 1. Many as 65 % of the congregation expressed strongly agreed with the statement numbers: 1, 2, 6, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 and 16. 2. Many as 23% of the church members said they agreed with the statement numbers: 3, 5, 8 and 17. 3. Many as 12% of church members are skeptical of claims numbers 4 and 7 . 4. 0 % total church members disagree or strongly disagree with the statements. Conclusion Research First: The nature of the real that God gave to man in the beginning, God mencitpakan them before the fall into sin is as representative for the Heavenly King to reign over God‟s creatures on planet earth. In his power as king, people entrusted to regulate the survival of all of God „s creation, to assuring of the welfare and happiness of living together, and the man responsible to the King of kings for what happens in this universe.
