ABSTRACT Thesis Title : PHILOSOPHICAL ANALYSIS THE INFLUENCE OF PASTOR'S WIFE IN SUPPORTING THE PASTOR SERVICES FOR INCREASING THE MEMBER'S SPIRITUAL AT THE SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTIST CHURCH OF BABUSSALAM AND SIMPANG JAMBU IN CENTRAL SUMATERA MISSION BASE ON PROVERBS 12: 4. Finished Date : December 14th, 2020 The church spiritual ministry, especially a pastoral ministry, cannot be separated from the influence of the pastor's wife. The influence of the family greatly impacts the effectiveness of the ministry in reaching every soul, in this case every member of the church. One person who is very influential in the ministry of a pastor is his wife. The influence of the pastor's wife in advancing the work of a pastor is to contribute and have a successful impact on the ministry of a pastor in the church. A pastor's wife can have a very positive influence in the ministry, especially in building the spiritual development of church members. The positive influence of a pastor's wife can be developed by giving the right example to church members in hospitality, how to speak gently, how to dress modestly, closeness to all church members, and not discriminating between church members served. After conducting research on the members of the Seventhday Adventist (SDA) church of the Babussalam congregation and the SDA church Simpang Jambu, Central Sumatra Mission, which involved 86 respondents with the results of the validity and reliability tests of the data processed in accordance with the research objectives and the correlation test or the relationship of all variables, the authors concluded that based on the results of the description Statistically, 82.1% of respondents agree and acknowledge the influence of the pastor's wife on the success of the pastor's ministry in increasing the spirituality of congregation members in the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Babussalam and Simpang Jambu congregations in central Sumatra Mission based on Proverbs 12:4. This conclusion can be described as follows: First, based on the results of the Descriptive Statistic variable X1, namely "Philosophical Analysis of the Influence of the Pastor's Wife for the Success of Pastor Services in Improving the Spirituality of Members of the Congregation, Based on Proverbs 12: 4." It is known that the average score of the X1 variable is 4.17 from the interpretation scale, it can be concluded that the average respondent agrees that the pastor's wife has influence on the success of the pastor's ministry in increasing the spirituality of church members, based on Proverbs 12: 4. Second, based on the results of the Descriptive Statistic variable X2: "Supporting Factors for Pastor's Wife," It shows about 4.20 from the interpretation scale, it can be concluded that, most of the respondents agree and understand that there are supporting factors for the spiritual services of the wife. Pastors who can increase the spirituality of church members such as factors of patience, perseverance, care, hospitality, involvement, discipline, and factors of self-control. Third, based on the results of the Descriptive Statistic variable X3: "The Role of the Pastor's Wife in the Spiritual Services of the Congregation," is 4, 08, it can be concluded that the average respondent agrees and understands that there is a Pastor's Wife's Role in Spiritual Services that can improve the spirituality of the church members such as leadership roles and role models. Fourth, based on the results of the descriptive statistic variable Y: "Indicators that show the spiritual growth of the congregation which is influenced by the spiritual services of the pastor's wife," is 4, 23. So it can be concluded that the respondents agree that there are indicators that show the spiritual growth of the congregation such as maturity. spirituality that can be seen from the life and sacrifice of every member of the church who is active in helping evangelistic work either through involvement or in giving offerings and tithes which are also influenced by the ministry of the pastor's wife in increasing the spirituality of church members.
