Hutabarat, M.Div Completed Date : 30 April 2021 The true leader is to fear God so that he can carry out the mandate that God has given him. Thus all the purposes of God can be carried out properly through a leader whom God has chosen. Moses was given the opportunity to God to lead the Israelites out of Egypt. So God prepared Moses to remain obedient to Him from all His commands from small things to big things. Obedience is needed so that everyone can later become an example following in the footsteps of Moses. The Word of God in Exodus 4: 24-26 which is written, "But on the way, at a place that was sleeping, the Lord met Moses and tried to kill him. Then Zipporah took a stone knife, cut off the foreskin of his son, then touched it with the skin of Musa's feet, saying: "Behold, thou art a blood bride to me." Zipora said at that time, remembering the circumcision. " Whoever must always obey what has been the responsibility of the Israelites from generation to generation, must not be negligent because it has become his obligation. In this research to say why God wanted to kill Moses, it is true. Because for God whoever is when found disloyal, and disobedient to Him. So God did not hesitate to kill him, therefore it is necessary to have the correct information on the verse. In order for each member to understand the importance of obedience to God so that our spirituality can grow well in covenant with God with what has become a stipulation, we, His people, must obey all of these covenants. Because for Allah disobeying means breaking His commandments and the provisions of this violation are death.
