ANALISIS PERILAKU PENGGUNAAN GADGET PADA MAHASISWA FAKULTAS TEKNOLOGI INFORMASI DI UNIVERSITAS ADVENT INDONESIA

ABSTRACK Arranged by: Lisa Pratiwi Sitorus NIM :1582030 This study analyzes the behavior of gadget use in information technology faculty students at Advent Indonesia University. The purpose of this study is 3, namely: (1) to determine the effect of using gadgets during learning. (2) to find out whether using a gadget will be lazy to learn. (3) to find out whether older people will prohibit using gadgets because IP decreases. A sample of 66 respondents was used with the Slovin sampling technique. Data collected through questionnaires were processed using SPSS to test valid results and reliability. From the analysis that has been done in getting the following results: (1) gadgets cause dependence on students who use them. (2) from the dependence and development of student learning interest, it also impacts the results of student achievement. (3) but on the other hand, if students can use balance between learning and playing gadgets. Starting from making it easier for students to find information, and keep up with the progress of the times. And some students claim that the gadget is a tool for their learning motivation.
