ABSTRACT DESIGNING AN APPLICATION SYSTEM ON PRECESSING DATA ADMINISTRATION IN THE DISTRICT OF BOJONGLOA KALER By: Nia Angelina Sinaga NIM: 1382004 Manual handwriting has been an existing processing method of administrative data in Bojongloa Kaler District. However this method has several disadvantages, for instance the obscurity of written data in administration book, amount of time spent for data tracing, difficulty on quick and accurate reporting, the risk of data loss and archives breakage due to poor placement and maintenance of filing. The purpose of this study is 1) Creating a computer program for database input to avoid data duplication or double writing. 2) Improving data tracing rapidity to ease the district officer in Bojongloa Kaler District. 3) Simplify any programs and service by computerization. The methods used in the preparation of this study is organization review, old system architecture, new system architecture, problem description, system design and interface design. Visual Basic and Microsoft SQL Server 2010 softwares were used to design the application. The results of this study were 1) The district officers were able to view the registered population data of the district. 2) The district officer could trace the population data easier than the manual existing method. 3) The district officers were able to report the population data easier than the manual existing method.
