ABSTRACT THE EFFECT OF GOOD CORPORATE GOVERNANCE IMPELMENTATION ON FRAUD PREVENTION AT BANK NEGARA INDONESIA,TbK By: Agnes Monalisa Simbolon This study aims to determine hou' the implementation of Good Corporate Governance, How Fraud Prevention and How the role ofthe implementation ofgood corporate govemance to prevent fraud at Bank Negara Indonesia, Tbk. Research done by the descriptive method that describe and discuss the object under inYestigation based on facts. Technique ofdata collecting is done through distribution of questionnaires that ha\e been tested lor Yalidation and reliability Questionnaires distributed to the parties or the object being studied. Questionnaire data lvere statistically processed using the Pearson Product N'loment correlation analysis, hlpothesis testing and anali'sis of determination coefficient. Based on the research it is kno*n that the conipan-v- has applied GCG properly and in compliance rvith Bank Indonesia Regulation No. 814|PBU2006 lt can be seen rvith the implementation of GCG principles is to give a clear duties and responsibilities for each function. among others. the Board of Commissioners, Board olDirectors. and others. Prevention of fraud at the company'has been executed riell with the formation ofthe Audit Committee along uith a description of duties and responsibilities that are focused on preventing the occurrence of fraud. Based on statistical analysis using Pearson Product Moment conelation, the conelation coefficient r: 0.858 showing the relationship between the implementation of good corporate govemance to prevent fraud at Bank Negara Indonesia, Tbk is very strong and positive. Based on the hypothesis test results are known tcount> ttable ie 6.03,1> 2. I 60 thus Ho rvas rejected. The prevention of fraud of 73.7Yo shorvn by the application of good corporate govemance, u'hile 26.3% are influenced by other factors.
