ABSTRACT The Influence of Return on Asset (ROA) and Return on Equity (ROE) on Earning per Share in PT ANTAM (Persero) Tbk. By Andrew Vincent Mark The purpose of this study was to determine how the effect of the Return on Asset on the Earning per Share (EPS) of a company. How the influence of Return on Equity (ROE) on the Earning per Share (EPS). How the influence of Return on Asset (ROA) and Return on Equity (ROE) on the Earning per Share (EPS) simultaneously at PT Antam (Persero) Tbk. Period 2003-2012. In the process of this research, the writer uses descriptive method to process the data, by collecting data from company financial statements that have been issued by the Indonesia Stock Exchange on the official website www.idx.co.id and process it so that it can produce the needed information in the study. And based on the research that has been done, it is known that the return on assets has a significant influence because it has a sig. 0,000 to Earnings per Share, Return on Equity and to have a significant influence because it has a sig. 0,016 to Earnings per Share. And to the influence of Return on Assets and Return on Equity, Earnings per Share to simultaneously, can not be done due to non-fulfillment of the condition of the classical assumption of normality test.
