ABSTRACT THE APPLICATION PROGRAM OF LAGU GEMBIRA SEVENTHDAY ADVENTIST CHURCH BASED ANDROID Mega RahayuIrjayanti NIM: 1282004 Android-based information systems in this era is growing very rapidly. Moreover, many Android applications that can be used on smartphones. Smartphones with Android system have advantages of accessing Android app very well with relatively cheap price when compared with other smartphone. These advantages make the various parties competing to develop Android-based applications, not least with “Lagu Gembira” app Seventh-day Adventist Church. The author utilizes Android technology to design a “Lagu Gembira”app. With this app, The users don’t need to buy “Lagu Gembira” books anymore, but only by using Androidbased smartphones. The purpose of this experiment is to facilitate convey the contents of the “Lagu Gembira”to the user. The methodology used in this research is the Waterfall method, which analyzes the needs analysis, design the system, create the system, test the system, and apply the system. This app was built using Android Studio as the IDE (Integrated Development Environment). This application makes users no trouble to get data from “Lagu Gembira” book, but only by using Android-based smartphone. Broadly speaking this application is able to run well, but still needed development in the user interface and development on various platforms other than Android.
