ABSTRACT Design of an Inventory Information System and Daily Work Result Based on Web in Perkebunan Palm NBH Sejahtera KURNIA RAHMAD 1381027 Nowadays, communication technology through internet world is growing extremely fast and rapidly. It causes many companies are racing to get the maximum results because by using the technology and by the communication network in the form of the internet that can be accessed anywhere and anytime, they can be connected to each other. With the facility of web-based data storage, many companies are utilizing the services of such storage as a storage area. Recently, one of the companies that need to use that storage is Palm NBH Sejahtera. The company is engaged in oil palm plantations and is expected to help and resolve the problem of recording input, stock, and output of goods as well as recording the daily work activity report of the company. In the preparation of this thesis, the method of data collection was conducted through interviews and field observations to get the core problems faced recently and provide the best solutions to these problems. In the design of information systems inventory, researcher utilized the facilities and web-based application powered by PHP and MySQL database program for storing and processing data. This inventory information system design consists of the recording of incoming and outgoing goods, processing, and storage as well as work activity report. This system aims to facilitate the establishment of communication quickly and connected to one another as well as data storage easier to be accessed at any time by the web-based.
