ABSTRACT INFORMATION SYSTEM DESIGN OF UNAI ALUMNI WEB-BASED Claudia Lucie Agatha NIM: 1182024 The rapid development of technology has huge impact on the world of information at this time. Communications and the management of information becomes easier to do. Use of the website has been widely enjoyed by everyone, and the organization as a means to interact or obtain the information easily. This convenience is required by the educational institutions, which certainly cannot be separated in the management of data and information. The role of Alumni is very important for the development of an educational institution. Value and quality of an educational institution is reflected through the alumni. The good of the empowerment alumni and alumni association indirectly enhance the good image of the alma mater in the general public. Similarly, the involvement of alumni in exchanging information among alumni, also become one of the important factors in an educational institution such as a university for the development of the university. Adventist University of Indonesia requires an information system to assist the tracking of alumni and also for data management of graduates to be an information that is needed. The purpose of this research are 4: 1) To facilitate the tracking of the alumni by providing web-based information systems. 2) To help the data management into an information that is needed. 3) To provide a system that can be used to provide the information such as the upcoming events, job information, and voting via online for ease of the alumni in making decisions in the organization.4) To help the alumni who are located far away from the campus to get their legalized diploma and transcript easier. The methodology that have been used in this writing is a method of SDLC (System Development Life Cycle). This application is expected to help the alumni and the university for tracking alumni, alumni data management, and also in the preparing and obtaining the information.
