ABSTRACT This study is a qualitative and quantitative research. The purpose of this study is b inrrestigAe the efiectiveness ofBarney Movie Series towards students' vocabulary establishment. This snrdy was cooducted to Socond gra& at SD KARTIKA X-3 Parongpong. It shows from the shrdy that Bamey Movie series can be utilized to e$ablish studenB' vocabulary; however on tbe resuft of tbe frndingS they are nO tha sipificant. The calculation is as follour pre-test on the experimental class hes a mean of50.29, maximum soore lOoand the mean of the post-test is61.74, and the maximum score is 100 and the minimum score is 3.33. For control class 6e pro.test has a mea is 47 20, and the mean of post-test is 53.00. The effectiveness of Brney Movie Series in sndene' vocabulary establishment can be seen by the Gain of experimentrI class is 0.13, and contsol class is 0.M.
