ABSTRACT The Role of Operational Auditing in Effort to Improve the Quality of Product at PT ELECTRIC WIRE INDONESIA (PT EWIIYIX)) By: Dela Ima Sinaga This research aimed to determine how the operational audit done, the effect to improve the quality of product at PT EWINDO. The writer uses descriptive methods and conduct intewiews and documentations to obtain the necessary data based on actual circumstances. The writer processed the data by using quantitative methods. Based on questionnaire results, it is known that mean 4,36, operational auditing identified a very good results. Whereas effort to improve the quality of product with mean 4,37, indicates a very good results. Based on statistical calculatrons, ir was found that there is a significant role between the operational audit to effort to improve the quality of product at PT EWINDO indicated by the results 4 : 0.408. The significant test of the two variables, where t.orrrg is 3,156 > tro61" is 1,676 that showed Ho is rejected. The coeffrcient determination obtained by 16,640/o which means there is the role of the operational audit of 16,640/o, while the remairung determined by other factors outside of this research.
