ABSTRACT VEHICLE SERVICE INFORMATION SYSTEM DESIGN AND INVENTORY AT THE DEPARTMENT AUTOMOTIVE ADVENTIST UNIVERSITY OF INDONESIA Irene Handriani Badowo S. NIM: 1182032 As the development of information technology, many organizations vying to use it as the way of improving the quality and profit. Information technology used by the various organizations that can be a tool to compete and survive in today's competitive business. One organization that utilizes sophisticated technology is the Adventist University of Indonesia, but it is unfortunate because there is one department that is not owned UNAI maximum in using technology, namely the Department of Automotive UNAI. Department UNAI Automotive is a provider of maintenance and repair facilities UNAI vehicle. Recording system service and poor inventory makes the performance of the Department of Automotive is not optimal. From this study, the author designed a new web-based system that aims to facilitate the recording service and determine the amount of inventory as well as to be able to update the items accurately. So that the decisionmaking process in the future could become a performance booster of the departments. The method used is observation, interview, and literature studies. The conclusion is that this system can help the process of recording service and inventory control accurately and easily.
