ABSTRACT COMPARISON BETWEEN TTTE VALUE RELEVAI{CE OF FTET INCOME AND CASH FLOW TO TTIE MARKET VALUE EQUITY IN EACH LIFE CYCLE STAGECOMPAI\TY (SIJRYEY ON SOME COMPAI\TY MANUFACTURTNG IN BEI 2008-2010) by: PERKII{D MARTHADINATA MARB UN This study aims to compare the value relevance of net income and cash flow to market value equity at each stage of the life cycle of the company. Company's life cycle is generally divided into start-up stage, gror*th, mature and decline. Characteristics ofdifferent companies for each stage of the lifecycle, because it uses accounting measurements will also be different. The study was conducted using descriptive methods, where data is collected based on real circumstrnces, processed, anzlyzed and eventually be concluded. Data taken from the Indonesia Stock Exchange and processed using SPSS version 20 with the classical assumption test and reglession test. This study tested the first (srart-up) hypothesis can't be tested because of the existing sample, the sample did not match the entry in the classification stage start-up. This study proves that the growth phase, the test results do not support the hypothesis that at this stage of growtfu net income gives relevance to the company's value better than cash flow. In the mature stage can not be proven relevance of the comparison between net income and cash flow to firm value because the conclusions can not be the basis ofthe samples studied are shown the results ofF test And the decline phase ofthe data that there is only 4 years of observation so it is not possible to do the testing at this stage.
