ABSTRACT THE INiFLUENCE OF LEADERSHIP TOWARDS EMPLOYEE'S WORK MOTTVATION AT PT. AJ MEGALIFE, BAI{DUNG By: Lensi Rianis Jais The purpose of this research is to know the implementation of leaCership, employee's work motivation and the influence of leadership towards employee's rnctivation at PT. AJ Megalife. Bandung. Researctr method used is desciptive that is doing research in a company tt rough data collection tused on real condition, data is being pocessd analyzeii, and concluded- Data collecting technique used were through interriew and questionnaires filled up by the top marragement and ernpioyees of Retail Financial Consultant at PT. AJ lvlegalife, Bandung. The leadership style practice at PT. AJ Megalife is democratic, wherein the top nanagement respect the employees, there is harnronious and good relationship between the top management and employees. This type of leadenhip motivates the employees to work well, and they recognize and respect their subordinates. The top management gives the employees to develop their skill, crcalr- a conducive work environment and always recognize tJre achievement of every ernployee. Based on questiomaire result that was distributed to 32 responden! if is know that variable x, that is leadership and variable y, that is work motiration, r" : 0,308, wbich means there is a low correlation between leadership and work motlvation and it is known that t""6,sL6 value is greater than tr"u6 that is 1,776 > 1,697, wllch mean li6 is rcjected. This indicates that there is a positive anC significant correlation between leadership and employee work motivation. Based on calculation coefficient determination it indicates that leadership influence employee work rnotivation by 9,49o/o and the remains of 90,51% is caused by others factors.
