UJI AKTIVITAS ANTIOKSIDAN EKSTRAK DAUN PINUS (Pinus merkusii) DENGAN METODE DPPH (1,1-DIFENIL-2-PIKRILHIDRAZIL)

ABSTRACT STUDY OF ANTIOXIDANT ACTIVITY OF EXTRACT PINE LEAVES (Pinus merkusii) BY DPPH METHOD (1,1-diphenyl-2-pikrilhidrazil) Ellen Hutauruk Nim : 1141007 Antioxidants are compounds that can slow or prevent the oxidation process. This compound is able to ward off the ill effects by giving one electron to the free radical. Class of chemical compounds test results showed that the leaf pine pine has a compound leaf alkaloids, flavonoids, monoterpenes, sesquiterpenes, saponins, steroids and quinones. Extracts used are ethanol extract, fractions and fractions dichloromethane acid with a concentration of 10 ppm, 20 ppm, 50 ppm, 100 ppm, 200 ppm, 500 ppm and 1000 ppm. ANOVA test results showed that there were significant antioxidant activity with p = 0.000 in ethanol extracts with DPPH analysis time one hour and 24 hours. Duncan's Multiple Range Test showed that the ethanol extract concentration of 100 ppm, 200 ppm, 500 ppm and 1000 ppm is the concentration that showed the best antioxidant activity. Test results Variant Analysis (ANOVA) with acid fractions 24 hour time DPPH analysis showed significant results with p = 0.000. Duncan's Multiple Range Test with 24-hour time analysis showed that the fraction of the acid concentration is 500 ppm concentration showed the best antioxidant activity. Dichloromethane fraction with one hour time DPPH analysis showed significant results with p = 0.000. Duncan's Multiple Range Test with a time of one hour analysis showed that the fraction of dichloromethane with a concentration of 50 ppm, 200 ppm, 20 ppm, 10 ppm and 100 ppm is the concentration that showed the best antioxidant activity. While the results of Duncan's Multiple Range Test ethanol extract, acid fraction, dichloromethane fraction and found that the ethanol extract of the data analysis time 24 hours after addition of DPPH concentration of 100 ppm is the largest contributor of data to the results of ANOVA on antioxidant activity with the value 2468.42%.
