This study aims to find out how companies manage the cost of promotion done, to Know the change total and to detennine of promotional cost management toward changes in total sales at I'T. PPD PUSRI WEST JAVA. This research was conducted using descriptive methods, where data is obtained by collectlng, analynng and pmvides a fairly clear picture of the object of research. The data obtained were analyxed to take a summary. Technich data collection used were interviews with the competent parties in the interprise and through the written data (study document). The data is then analyzed using linear regression analysis, correlation coefficient, hypothesis test, and coefrcient of determintain. Based on the result of research known that PPD PUSRI WEST JAVA as a promotion through extension on demontrasion plots, aajangsasa, exhibition, sponsorstrip and gathering customer. The total cost of the promotion of demonstration plots in 2008 amounted to Rp 45,072,500, in 2009 amounted to Rp 49,722,500 and in 2010 amounted to Rp 49,870,000. While sales in 2008 amounted to Rp 10,759,692,500, in 2009 amounted to Rp 19,363,491,000 and in 2010 was Rp 20,949,543,950. So there is an increase of sales each year. Based on st4tistical analysis found a linear regrossion aqua.tion Y= 50,697.50 + 2.5915X and sales will still be there even if not done promotions. Correlation of cots management promotions and changes in total sales is very low and positive wherc r = 0.0540 for test of the hypothesis l<;rrcwn t"an-r nta and t-6o6pa *6" = 0.170 and = l.El2. Because Vri*t -t* > t-ua.a -tu (1.812 > 0.170) thus indicating Ho accepted that there were no signi-ficant role among the management of promotional costs toward changes in total sales at PT.
