PENANGANAN ARSIP DI KANTOR KONFERENS DKI JAKARTA DAN SEKITARNYA

Abstract Arranged by: Yuni Fransiska Pasaribu NIM: 1533007 This study aims to find out handling the archives of important documents at the office of the Conference of DKI Jakarta and surrounding areas. With neatly arranged, documents that will be archived will bring a good impact for an organization. This research used Field Work Practice method for 2 months 11 days, with 453 hours’ work hours according to standard determined by Universitas Advent Indonesia. The types of documents in the archive are: Type of outgoing and incoming mail and Inactive mail documents. From the observations made by the author found that one of the obstacles found is that in the absence of a special officer who is expert in terms of archiving, existing documents are not organized neatly, causing various problems. To overcome this, the authors make improvements to the archiving system in the office of the Conference of DKI Jakarta and its surroundings by using the numbering system for file types of excom and adcom meeting decision results, to facilitate the search of important documents, if at any time be required. This method has ultimately contributed to facilitate document search and advance organizational performance. Keywords: Secretary, Archives & Archives
