ABSTRACT THE ROLE OF THE SECRETARY TO HANDLING OUTSOURCING EMPLOYEE’S ATTENDANCE OF PT. SUMMARECON MAL KELAPA GADING, JAKARTA Gita Rose Aphrodita NIM: 1633001 Nowadays the secretary’s role is getting more complex. They are required to be able to do the special tasks, beside their routine tasks. At PT. Summarecon Mal Kelapa Gading Jakarta especially, the secretary’s role is importantly needed. This company known as one of the leading property players in Indonesia, especially in the development of townships & commercial. They have 2 types of employees, which is permanent employees and outsourcing employees. One of the secretary’s task at this company, especially in the Human Resources Department, is to handle attendance data of PT. Summarecon’s outsourcing employees. The purpose of this scientific papers is finding out the process about how to manage attendance data of PT. Summarecon’s outsourcing employees, the problems that occur through the process, and also the secretary’s role along the process. The method used is professional placement for 400 hours, in approximately 3 months, according to the standards of Adventist University of Indonesia, with a job description that has been given by Mrs. Yesi, Mrs. Mega, Mrs. Maylisia, Ms. Viviani, Mr. Zainal and Mr. Fiqi. From the results of her research, the authors conclude that the problems that occur in the process of examining the attendance data are the lack of man power in the Human Resources department, lack of communication and the delay in correcting the results of attendance data. From these conclusions, the authors suggest that additional employees are needed, a collective agreement for submission time of attendance data, and also the outsourced admin officer must pay attention to the supporting attachments of attendance data.
