ABSTRACT Analysis of Procurement of Raw Material Inventory by EOQ Method as a Management Tool in Controlling Inventory Cost at Indonesia Publishing House By: Ruth Mawar Damayanti In this study the issues discussed by the authors is how the procurement of raw material inventories implemented by lndonesia Publishing House, How to confol inventory costs in Indonesia Publishing House and how the procurement of raw material inventory analysis can assist managemant in controlling inventory coss. Research methodology is descriptive metho4 which is based on the real state of the data collecte4 processed, analyzed, and conclusions drawn- Data were collected through interviews and documentation. and data were analyzed using inventory cost analysis, analysis ofthe total cost ofthe inventory and analysis ofthe reorder point Raw material requirernents planning in Indonesia Publishing House conducted by the head of production and in which the manager can calculate the arnount of materials needed. in 201 I as the company needs raw materials 1483.6 rim while in 2012 the number of enterprises need as much raw 1501 rim' fees that occur at Rp 9000, while a storage fee 0.5%o from inventory cos! and thus the cost of inventory that occurred in 201 I was Rp 212,722.5 andfot20l2 amounted to 215'006.25 Thus by using the EOQ analysis lndonesia Publishing House in 201 I the cost is Rp.l18.635 inventory and will make savings ofRp 94,0t7.5. And for 2012 it cost is Rp I 19.287.5 and cost savings occur Rp 95,718.75
