Consequentfy the effectiveness of evangelism in the church hindered and not progressing in line with expectations. With the problem of communication over an investigation needs to be done to resolve the issue. Each church received training dur.ing two meetings through seminars in March-Aprj-f are given pastor. Then followed the distribution of a questionnaire to get some of the principles of communication that can help many of the laity in order to conmunicate the gospel more effectively- The results based on data analysis using t-test at signifj-cance Ievel cI : 0.05 levef obtained that pastors and church conunittees in the Seventh-day Adventist Church central Lampung district is very strong understanding of communication in preachj-nq the gospel teachings of the Bibfe for church growth . Referring to these results, it was concluded that the training routine to the church can provide a strong influence on the corununication principLes Iaity who want to get involved in evangelism.
