ABSTRACT THE ROLE OF SPIRITUALITY AND YOUTH EVANGELISM OF CICAHEUM SDA CHURCH IN FAITH DEVELOPMENT AND MEMBERS QUANTITY BASED ON 1 TIMOTHY 4:12 Bezisokhi Ndruru NIM: 1111024 The youth of the church are the future leaders who can be counted on to do the ministry of the gospel of Christ. Young people have the potential to become a messenger of salvation for many people. Therefore, the author examines the role of spirituality and youth evangelism in the development of faith and members quantity. This study is based on the life of a young man in the Bible named Timothy who gave his life to serve God fully based on I Timothy 4:12. Thus, the author provided three main indicators of discussion: Discussion on I Timothy 4:12, the cause of young people participating less in evangelism, and how to increase spirituality and evangelization of young people. This study is divided into two parts, namely through literature research and field research. Research through the literature are those who understand the important role of spirituality of young people who will influence the desire to participate in the ministry of evangelism, as well as faith and members will increase. Spiritual quality of the young people will be seen and confirmed only through their daily life, a youth who could be followed in the way of speaking, behaving, in love, loyalty, and in purity. The results of field research conducted through the distribution of questionnaires to young people of the Seventh-day Adventists Church in Cicaheum Bandung shows a data that almost all respondents understand well the role of spirituality and youth evangelism in the development of faith and church quantity. Yet there are doubts, especially about youth participation in church evangelism. Keywords: Spirituality, Faith, and Evangelism.
