USING SCAFFOLDING TECHNIQUE IN THE MULTIMEDIA ASSISTED LEARNING TO ENHANCE STUDENT'S DESCRIPTIVE WRITING
XMLABSTRACT This study is entitled "Using Scaffolding Technique in The Multimedia Assisted lrarning to Enhanc€ Student's Descriptive Writing Skills,,. It was conducted over two months at SMA Negeri I parongpong, Weit Java. The study used two classes of science progam glade )(I as samples for the study with the total number of32 participants for each groups. Grade XI IpA I as experimental group and grade XI IPA 2 as control group. This brief study was divided into four steps: giving pilot test pre-test, treatment, and post-test. This study used Anatest V4 and SPSS 16 in calculaing the dara. From rhe data calculated by SpSS 16 for control group, the mean score of gain in pre-test and post-test is 0.292 and for experimental group is 0.750. Based on the analysis it can be conclude that there is a significant diflerence between those who are taught using scaffolding technique in the multimedia assisted leaming and conventional method in eniancing student's descriptive writing.
