STUDI PREVALENSI RETENSI DAN TOLERANSI GLUKOSA PADA MAHASISWA TINGKAT I DI UNIVERSITAS ADVENT INDONESIA

ABSTRACT This research was carried out to freshmen students of Adventist University of Indonesia. The purpose of this study is to determine whether there is blood sugar levels differences between groups of data retention and that of tolerance. The design of this research is using descriptive method and the subject were chosen at random, with the number of 50 students with an average age of l8 years old, who reside in dormitoies and in good heahh. In this research the data was analyed using data distibution normality test and Mann-llhitney analysis. Mann-W'hitney analysis obtained retention and tolerance p 0./61> 0.05. This results of analysis show that data retention and tolerance groups are not significant. Therefore, the hypothesis which stated that "There is no dffirence in blood sugar levels between groups of data retention and tolerance in the freshmen students of Adventist University of Indonesia, was accepted, which means there is no dffirence in blood sugar levels significantly between group retention and blood sugar tolerance in the freshmen students at the Adventist University of Indonesia.
