ABSTRACT ANALYSIS ALGORITHM ID3 AND C4.5 FOR SELECTION NEW STUDENTS INFACULTY OF NURSING ADVENTIST TTNIVERSITY OF INDONESIA By: Richard Rizky Rewah New admissions is a process which is very influential in the university. Selection of new students in Faculty of Nursing UNAI found many things that are less relevant, such as students who do not pass the test but received. At this time, the authors conducted a study on the new admissions system is performed using an algorithm ID3 (Iterative Dichotomiser 3) and C4.5 algorithms, as well as the authors also analyze about the comparison algorithm ID3 (Iterative Dichotomiser 3) and aloritma C4.5. It was found that the results of the comparison algorithms ID3 and C4.5, C4.5 algorithms have concluded performance (100% precision, recall9l.70o/o, and 95.74o/o acaxacy) better than the ID3 algorithm (100% precision, rcc2,ll 89 ,82o/o, and 95.38% accuracy).
