VARIASI MEDIA UMBI-UMBIAN DAN HORMON TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN MISELIUM JAMUR TIRAM PUTIH (Pleurotus ostreatus)

ABSTRACT MEDIA VARIATION OF TUBERS AND HORMONE ON THE GROWTH OF WHITE OYSTER MUSHROOMS (Pleurotus ostreatus) MYCELIUM ROSITA NIM: 1441017 Potato tubers, yam tubers and sweet potatoes are a source of carbohydrates other than rice, corn and wheat. Tubers have many benefits as a high energy and high nutritional content, including proteins, carbohydrates, iron that can support the growth of white oyster mushroom mycelium (Pleurotus ostreatus). This research studied on tuber as plant media with the addition of NAA hormone. To see its effect on the growth on the length of white oyster mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus) mycelium. The findings of this study shows that: (1) Tuber as plant media where p = 0.001 (less than ɑ = 0.05). Therefore the hypothesis that stated "There is no effect of tuber cultivation media on the length of mycers Mushroom Oyster mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus)" is rejected, (2) Hormone NAA as plant media where p = 0,000 (less than ɑ = 0.05). Therefore the hypothesis that stated "There is no influence of NAA hormone on the growth of mycers mushroom mycelium (Pleurotus ostreatus)" is rejected, and (3) The interaction between tubers and hormone NAA where p = 0.049 (less than ɑ = 0.05). Therefore the hypothesis that stated "There is no interaction of the tuber and NAA media to the length of the mycelium of the white oyster mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus) is rejected." This study, then, concluded that there is a significant influence of tubers, hormones, and the interaction of both on the growth of white oyster mushrooms mycelium.
