ABSTRACT Technolory growth is usefirl to make an easier job, and technology can be functional on every aspect, weather in health, educatio4 business, social netwod! etc. A function ofa mobile device is increasing today. An advance mobile device is supported by an advanced operating system. Android is an advanced oporating system that is incrcasing widely and has many outstanding features. Information sewices or entertainment can b€ accessed using a mobile device through a cellular network and using position and geographic location as an advantage.it is also called the Location Based Service (LBS) technology. A mobile device user can be detected by the LBS technology. The LBS technology can also be used to detect a nearby hotel or other things. These advances can trigger many people to develop an application to this android operating system, and giving chanccs to Bandung Tour Guide application that is used to hnd places in Bandung and can be used for other activities that needed this application. Android uses languages to build an application. Android has many libraries to help a developer to make their application. One example of the library that is used to build the application of Bandung Tow Guide is the library that shows a location map and a chosen location. On the other han4 this application is connected with the server that saves the location data, user's data etc. ln conclusion, this application is operating in a great value by showing the user's position and a position of one place, later giving a route from a place that the user desired, s€nding and updating data from a device to a server and the other way around. However, a development is still needed on the part of the user's interfacc, and there are places with applicarion contents that still needed to be updated. Keywords: Location Based Service, Android
