ABSTRACT The Influence of Leodership Techniques and Motivation To Keep Employees Productivity at the Adventist University oJ Indonesia. By: Joan yuliana Hutapea Ihis research was conducted to determine how the infuence of l,eadenhip Techniques and Motivation to Keep Employee productivity ar the Adventist Universily of Indonesia. For that have been studied 54 samples of II7 totol permanent employees in the Adventist University of Indonesia. Primary dato obtained through the filing of several queslions in the form of questionnaires to the respondents. previously, validity and reliabilily test of the questionnaire are conducted by using Spearman Brown formula with tle rerult: kadership Techniques euestionnaire has a value of r 11 = 0.97, Motivation Questionnaire has a value of r n : 0.8g1, and Inbor productivity Questionnaire has a value ofr 11 = 0.965. The three values ofr is grealer thdn 0.60 or when ampared with the r 67y"for n : 30, significance level (a) = Q,65 obtained r ,abk : 0.361 indicates thal the questionnaire instrument of Izadership Techniques, Motivation and Labor productivity has a high reliability and the result of the instrument sre trustwortty. Data obtained from the respondents were processed using sfatistical analysis programs, and the result: I"eadership Techniques overage value of the respndenl's answer ore amounted ro 3.gg. This value is in the inrervol 3-40 to 4.19 wilh Good interpretation. Motivation is in the good category, as indicated by the average value of 3.82, and labor productiviry is in the good category, which is indicated by the average value of 4.1E. Therefore rejected H0 and accept Hl which has the meaning of Leadership Techniques and Motivation has a positive influence over labor productivity by lhe percentage of 5l.g%, while the other factors that afect labor productivity are amounted to 4g.2,% which was nol imestigated in this study.
