ABSTRACT ANALYSIS STATUS OF FACEBOOK USING NAÏVE BAYES ALGORITHM FOR PREDICT STUDENT’S GPA AT UNIVERSITAS ADVENT INDONESIA NAMA : JOSE FRANKLIN HASUDUNGAN S NIM : 1181044 Facebook is one of the microblogging site that allows users to write something that happened to that person at that time. Postings are usually written into facebook is usually the outpouring of the heart, the location, with whom, and others. It can be used as a source of data. Student is one of the most Facebook users, and therefore the presence of facebook status collected a lot, then the data can be used as a tool to predict Grade Students at Adventist University of Indonesia with the category GPA “good (≥3.50) ", "medium (≥2,50 - 3:49)", "bad (<2,49)". The method used is the text mining, and Naïve Bayes algorithm.The author use 2000 facebook status that use as data train. Results of this research will be the publication by the authors to others.
