Date Einished: November 2006 Pastoral counseling case regarding separation and remarrying for the sake of having children in the congregation today is something that can be said as most up-to-date. This case can be happened because of lack of knowledge on Christian faith based on Bible and also because of no enough understanding about "Heaven]y Home". And this happened to coupl-es named Anang and Yona in the congregation of Sukajaya, West Java. Vlith the traditional opinion of husband and wife in understandinq the purpose of having chj-Idren in a Christian fami |y, they cannot notice the case in an objective nanner. The husband l-ooks at this situation in an easy way, saying that if no children can be bore by his wife, this gives him an impression that he has no authority. In reality, he already have two children from his wife, in general term, they are called step-children, The problem is that the husband does not understand the role of children in a f^'nily. Be it his own children or from others, children are gift of God that are entrusted to us (Psalms l2'l | . This is the case that Anang do not understand because of his traditiona.l- opinion, not based on Bible. If thj.s case is beinq handled properly and in a Christian way as it is being done in this pastoral- case study, it has been analyzed and interpreted in accordance with social and religious practices along with the basic principl€ in the Bible, systematic instructions through PASTOBAL COUNSELING has been given to both husband and wife ending this case in good terms. Anang and Yona were able to understand the situation and condi.tion in Biblical way and can have a harmonious and peaceful relationship. In the end everything were fixed because of Christian pastoral counseling. This is the reconmendation especially made as a contribution to th.is pastoral case study.
