ABSTRACT In this research I created a system that allows you to tum on or tum off the light from the computer through the parallel port and the system can be made to control lighs remotely using network technology' Lights tumed on using the pin is in the port by using applications created with Visual Basic client and server, the application can be controlled remotely over the network with clien application, Connected system of the client to the server using the networlq the data from the client in the execution by the sewer and forwarded to the lamp. The results show that the system can work in the server for the appropriate commands are sent from the client so tbat the lamp can be lit. Hopefirlly with this researcll there would be other researchs regarding light control using microcontroller. Keyword : RS-232, Relay, TCP/IP, Remote control
