ABSTRACT The rapid development of inteme has brcught direct impact on the security of inforrnation system particularly the security of the computer network. Some people even thought of using tre inteme techo:olory for a criminal action- Thereforg the secudty of the conputer networt is valuable. Having ttre IDS security network guarantees the safety ofa networlc UsiDg the IDS s€curity netwo* rcquires enough resources @ardware, softwarc, brain ware) to be implemented in the network Ihrcugh this final Fojecq fte author tries to do the implementation with existing hardware and software, such as: MySQL, BASE. While Snort IDS was usod and uses MySQL databas€. Snort has a mle fiat will be us€d to detect attacks, including port scanE TCP SNMP rcqucst, m€ssage floodi"g, and IITT" Insp€ct Detection results are stored in MySQL databasc, and will b€ shown thmugh BASE.
