ANALISIS MANFAAT INVESTASI E-FILING DI PT. PINDAD (Persero) PADA UNIT DIREKTORAT PERANCANGAN DAN PENGEMBANGAN (DITRENBANG)

ABSTRACT In the development ofthe business world today, competition on development ofan organization desperately relies on technolory because technology today ties and influences the development of every company's performance. Information Technology that is used by PT. PINDAD (Persero) is E-Filing. The purpose of this study is to see the benefit that PT.PINDAD (Pcrsero) rcccived from investing on information technology, as well as to see the development that has happened after applying a new system. The method used in this research is the information economics method. Data gathering was done through field observation and through several interviews with ce,rtain authorities. Calculation and analysis done was from the data of investment cost, operational cost and benefits gathered. The result of the researcher's analysis from otre of the units of PT. PINDAD (Persero) was that the Direktorat Perencanaan rl"n Pengembaagan unit (Ditrenbang) which has used information technology in is operational activity has a srong strategy with the help of the information technology thar has been applied therefore the lnformation Technology of the company has developed. Calculation of the cost benefit resulted in an ROI of 70,8% which shows a relatively large amount that can give a payback period of I y€ar 6 months and I I days which means that in the 2d year the company will receive a profit where this data is obtained through the payback period calculation.
