ABSTRACT DESIGN OF DECISION SUPPORT SYSTEM FOR CHOOSING THE BEST STUDENTS BY USING AHP (ANALYTICAL HIERARCHY PROCESS) WEB-BASED AT UNIVERSITAS ADVENT INDONESIA Jesslyn Simbolon NIM : 1282009 Decision Support System Application Design to choose the best student with AHP (analytical hierarchy process) method at Universitas Advent Indonesia is an alaternative way to see the student’s achievement according to the criteria that have been determined. AHP method is needed as a calculation to decide the best student with many criteria, Therefore, a Decision Support System to choose the best students dengan menggunakan metode AHP, to help and simplify the data processing in choosing the best student. The purpose of this study is to: (1) get the calculation/computation result of the best student according to the criteria (2) help the decision making with the built system. The method used in this research is SDLC (System Development Life Cycle). With this system, it can facilitate the provost one to be able to see the results of the student data that is in the process to get the best student and the system is made to be able to accelerate the process of selecting the best students.
