MeerkatsFlexipack IndonesiaThe research method used in this research is descriptive metho4 the research by collecting and presenting dara tom the company to be analyzed so as to provide a fairly clear picture of the ob.lect under study. As for the technique of data collection is done through a check list of enterprise, interviervq library researc[ and corporate documents. Product Development Quality Assurance Departsnemt is responsible for maintaining fte quality of the rfsulting product. In general, dre production process consists of three stages, namely: incoming material, in process and outgoing. The level of disability that occurs in PT. MeerkatsFlexipack Indonesia fiom January to Decemb€r 2012 has increased and decreased. r#here in May 2012 occurred the highest defect rate during 2012 is 4.92o/o,tthich is far beyond the standsrds set by the company. Factors causing product defects caused by humang machines, muerials, and methods. Based on a review of the role of thc departnent of Prcduct Development Quality Assurance (PDQA) in an effort to reduce the defect rate products on PT. Me€rftatsFlexipack Indonesia it can be concluded thd the deparrnr€nt Product Development Quality Assuranc€ (PDQA) has an important role in reducing produc't defects, because of problerns in the production pmcess from start to finish is the rsponsibility of the deportment of Pmduct flevelopment Qualiry Assurance (PDQA) in developing and analyze and compress disability products.
