ABSTRACT THE VIEW OF YOUNG PEOPLE IN CIMINDI BANDUNG RAYA CHURCH REGARDING BEHAVIOUR OF SEX OUTSIDE OF MARRIAGE BASED ON 1 CORINTHIANS 6:18 Merdi Yosadab Nitbani Nim: 0911007 The existence of sex and sexuality is not something that exists by chance or appear by itself, but it is the design of God who participate in the creation of that when man formed from the dust of the ground in the garden of Eden. God gave sex and sexuality as a gift to a married couple Adam and Eve that they also participated in the creation of the new man (offspring). Genesis 4: 1 “And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the LORD.” Proven practice in people's live both Old Testament and New Testament until today sex is a means of impingement lust and sex is just something that is not so important to be respected, so that it can lead to pregnancy out of wedlock, venereal disease and even infanticide through abortion. This has been reported everywhere like through news television, newspapers, magazines and others. Jesus said in Matthew 15:19, For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies. Paul states in Galatians 5:19, deeds of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, lust. These two verses are talking about the heart and human behavior and moral evil which was damaged by human who chose his own way and do not depend on the truth of God. Humans have chosen his own way so they no longer respect the sex and appreciate God who gives sex, the result is uncleanness, fornication, adultery and other crimes. If the heart is evil, then the mind is evil because evil thoughts are the product of an evil heart. The behavior of every young person must be accompanied by restraint and be sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit's power, so that the product of an evil heart can be controlled by the mind led by the Holy Spirit. Field research results obtained by the respondents specifically young people aged 16-27 years in the Cimindi Bandung Raya Church, it is known that the respondent understands very well and very amenable percentage value. The respondents understand very well about: 1. Definition of Sex and Sexuality with percentage value strongly agree. While the average value or mean is P1; 4:53 P2; 4:56 and P3; 4.3, this indicates that respondents understand very well the question. 2. Meaning of premarital sexual intercourse with a percentage value strongly agree. While the average value (the mean) is P4; 4.7 P5; 4.5 and P6 4. 3. The cause of premarital sexual intercourse with a percentage value agreed, and the average value of P7; 3.86 P8; 4:03 and P9; 3.96. 4. The function of human sexuality with the percentage of strongly agree and a value of the average value of P10; 4:43 P11; 4.5 and P12; 4:56. 5. Impact of premarital sexual intercourse with a percentage value strongly agree and the average score is P13; 4.8 P14; 4:43 P15; 4.63 P16; 4.7 and P17; 4.83. 6.
