ABSTRACT CAREER CENTER DESIGN AT ADVENTIST UNIVERSITY OF INDONESIA WEB-BASED Toman Lumban Tobing NIM: 1182045 Information technology is one of the kind of technology that is developing rapidly. The role of information technology for people is important and information technology has become a necessity common to humans at this time. Adventist University of Indonesia would like to have a career center website that serves to display information from the company regarding job applications from that companies. This research was conducted to identify the needs for information system design by analyzing the university. The results from identification of needs of information is used to design a web-based information systems. The method used in this study writing is the method of data collection and the development of systems using the State Load Despatch Centre (SLDC) comprising the steps of phase consists of, among others, (1) analysis, (2) design, (3) implementation, (4) maintenance. rom the research that has been done, the authors conclude that, (1) the career center's website can be viewed by the user and the company, (2) the company and the user can register and login to the career center website. (3) company that have registered and logged in to the system can enter the job applications into the website. As for suggestions that the author gave to the development of systems that have been made are (1) provides an online test feature. (2) Can be integrated with systems owned UNAI.
