This research is done is to known the implementatlon of quality confrol, level of defective product the factors causing defective product and role of quality control in business to decrease product spoilage of production process. Research method applied in this research is descriptive metho4 that is research is done by collecting and presenting daa from company, to be analyzed and concluded. While for data collecting technique, is was done through interview, questionnaire, library research and documents. Data obtained will be analyzed by using correlation coefficient rank spearman, t-test with degree of confidence 95o/o : 0,05 and coefficient determination. Implementa:tion of quality control of at PT. Asian Isuzu Casing Center done by part of Quality Control in direct supervision of departement PPC. In general production process consisted of four phases that is: melting, molding, core and finishing. Defective product level happened at PT. Asian Isuzu Casting Center from July until Desember 2008 is fluctuating. Where from two of product types which has been checked, product Cylinder Block 4JJl the had level of defective exceeding standard which has been specified by the company. The cause ofproduct defect is because of machine, man, method and material. Based on result of statistical analysis, hence known that level of correlation coefficient (rs) :0.758, this means that of quality control help decreased defective product, it showed a positive and strong relation. Based on hypothesis test, it is known that calculated value is 4.872 and t critical value is 1.812, thereby Ho is rejecte4 tlxs means that there is an inlluence that is significant between controls of quality and defective product. With a coefficient determination of 57.45V. if indicates that quality control affect defective product as it help decrease the spoilage and 42.55Vo is caused by other factors. h (
