PENGARUH HARGA PRODUK TERHADAP VOLUME PENJUALAN PADA PT. BITZER COMPRESSORS INDONESIA

This research was conducted to find out the effect price of the 4VC-4NC product in 2010, the volume of product sales in 2010, and to lnow the impact of the product price on sales volume at PT. BITZER Compressor lndonesia. The research method used in this writing of the thesis is a descriptive method, with the techniques of data processing using statistics analysis, specifically the analysis coefEcients of pearson product moment correlation, to know which hypothesis was accepted or rejected by test of hypothesis ,, and to know how much the effect of the price product (variable X) against sales volume (variable Y) by using the analysis coeflicient of determination formula (Cd). Based on the results of the analysis coefficients of pearson product moment correlation, then the obtained correlation ofr - -0.158, which indicates the correlation is very low and negative between the effect of products price (variable X) against sales volume (variable Y). Moreover with the calculatron of hypothesis I is known t5,1*,r: -0.493 and t6,61: 2.228 and based on the terms of the test criteria 166,, < fuu"r that is '0 493 < 2.228 il is known that Ho accepted and Ha is rejected, that means there is no significant effect between change in price product (variable X) against the sales volume (vanable Y). Furthermore, based on the calculation of the coeffrcient determination (Cd) is known only by 2.5o/o of the price impact of the product (variable X) against the sales volume (variable Y), whilst the remaining by 97 ,5% is affected by the other factors out of this research. From the result ofthe research, therefore known that the product price does not affect the sales volume. The effect of the products price 4VC-4NC is known very low in influencing the sales volume in 2010 at PT. BITZER Compressors Indonesia .
